Certifications of the Doctors

Our doctors and staff are fully trained in the most up-to-date and latest technology with superior capabilities. Our staff is CPR certified. Our doctors are specially trained in CEREC CAD-CAM (porcelain restorations using computer technology), A.C.L.S. (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certified and are accredited members of the following organizations:

Dr. Alina Lyons

Alina E. Lyons, D.M.D.
Dr. Lyons studied physics in Poland prior to coming to the United States in 1982.

Dr. Lyons graduated from Bradley University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. In 1989, Dr. Lyons earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Southern Illinois University and has practiced dentistry for over 18 years.

Dr. Lyons served as a dentist in the United States Air Force at McGuire AFB obtaining the rank of Captain, before starting Lyons Family Dentistry in Bordentown in 1993.

Dr. Lyons interests are family, traveling, theatre, and her german shepard Roxy!
   

Lawrence P. McDonough, D.D.S.
Dr. McDonough graduated from Villanova University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in both Biology and General Science.

In 1986, Dr. McDonough earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from New York University College of Dentistry. He is the past president of both the New Jersey Dental Chief's Association and the Special Care Advocates in Dentistry.

Dr. McDonough was a photojournalist in the United States Coast Guard for 4 years during the 1970's and has practiced dentistry for over 20 years.

Dr. McDonough's interests include sports, traveling, and learning to play the piano.
   
   

Germaine Buchanan, Accounts Manager
Germaine has over 35 years experience in both Administrative and Clinical Dentistry.

Germaine graduated from Bordentown Regional High School, and has attended numerous programs in Dental Administration and Finance.

Germaine enjoys the dental field and has been at Lyons Family Dentistry for 6 years.

Germaine's interests include reading, gardening, vacationing in the Caribbean, and most important spending time with her husband and 2 children!
   

Heidi Bingham, Financial Coordinator
Heidi has 3 years experience in the dental field at Lyons Family Dentistry.

Heidi is a former Customer Service Banking Representative and was a Biology Major a Lebanon Valley College.

Heidi enjoys music, horses, the beach, and Rugby!
   

Kara Siciliano, Patient Relations
Kara has been with Lyons Family Dentistry for 4 years.

Kara graduated from Rutgers University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.

Kara is currently attending LaSalle University and plans a career in Clinical Psychology.

Kara's interests include music, dancing, and chocolate!
   

Katie Giambelluca
Katie has been in the dental field for the past year. She has 12 years experience in Customer Service.

Katie studied Liberal Arts at Mercer County Community College.

Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children!
   

Elizabeth Leonard
Liz has 7 years experience in the dental field and is a Licensed Dental Radiologist.

Liz graduated from Bucks county Technical School and attended Harcum College for Radiology.

Liz's interests include hockey, skiing, and fishing!
   

Desirae Spoto, RDA Treatment Coordinator
Dez has 7 years experience in the dental field and is a Registered Dental Assistant.

Dez graduated from Mercer County Technical School in 1999 and attended Mercer County Community College for Radiology.

Dez is interested in basketball, soccer, and spending time with her son Dominic!

Danielle Gardella, Treatment Coordinator

Danielle has 9 years experience in the dental field.
She is planning to attend Burlington County College to further enhance her skills.

Her interests include friends, her dog, and spending time with family!




   

Deena Weiss, Registered Dental Hygienist
Deena has 14 years experience as a Dental Hygienist.

Deena graduated from Harcum College in 1993 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science, and was inducted into the National Honor Society for Academic Achievement in 1992.

Deena is a former Veterinary Technician who loves animals and is the mother of 2 children, 2 dogs, 4 birds and a cat!
   

Meg McElwee, Registered Dental Hygienist

Meg has 34 years experience as a dental hygienist.

She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. As a dental hygienist, Meg has practiced in hospitals for 20 years. She has also taught Dental Hygiene as an adjunct faculty member of Union County College for 13 years.

Her interests include visiting Las Vegas, old movies, needlework and her new dog Rusty!
